Sweet...but how on earth does a lab walk along the back of the sofa? That must be one big sofa! Libby slowly and gently (because she knows she shouldn't be on the sofa) climbs up me when I'm sat down, puts a paw on each of my shoulders and pushes in for a cuddle licking my face. That's especially welcomed when she's eaten some unknown yuk
We have two leather sofas in our living room, one against a wall and the other in the middle of nowhere. Shadow will leap up onto the back of the "middle of nowhere" one, and walk along the back. He thinks he's a cat. Ridiculous.
the one she walks along is about 7 foot long however she jumps up on the end of the sofa to wrap around your neck, you'd be surprised how small she can make her legs go to get into ideal wrapping position !
Yep Rory sofa hops like a cat too. He sits on the back edge so he can noisy out the window, Moo won't let him sit on her chair no way!
I dont know what it is, I think she might think shes still puppy sized and that its acceptable. What I enjoy seeing is that ive she wasnts to look out the window she will find it totally acceptable to jump up onto the sofa run along the back then jump back down to the floor instead of just walking on the floor !
I read that a dog leaning into you is their way to give you a hug. Zeke does what William's dogs does. He will squeeze in between the back of my recliner and my back, he'll do it to the wife on the couch too. We also have two small dogs that will sleep on top of the back of the couch, Zeke tries to do it too. When I take Zeke to the park in the morning he knows where we are going, he loves it there, I have a dog seat cover in the back of my Jeep where Zeke rides, he will nudge his head up on my shoulder and press down with his head while making some noises, he's excited to be going to the park and he's hugging me for taking him.
