My friend Rob called me today heartbroken as due to family circumstances he has to urgently rehome his 5 month old lab/husky cross bitch Laurel - they live near Bromsgrove although I've offered her a short term home if necessary (BEDFORD). Re: Urgent home needed - do you know anyone? Such a shame Carole. If you don't get any direct replies could you try BRX looks like she could fit well there. I don't know them personally but they always seem to try really hard to match dogs and owners and don't give up. Keeping my fingers crossed for her x

Perhaps after short term 'foster' care with yourself she could return to her family. Looking at the facebook page, she's obviously loved very much. Best of luck helping the family.

Re: Urgent home needed - do you know anyone? thanks everyone - she's arriving tonight and as long as my pack are ok with her she'll stay until we find the best place for her. Unfortunately returning to the family won't be an option. I will post more up to date pictures when I get a chance. Right I need to dust off my puppy minding brain, I seem to remember 5 month olds are quite lively! ;D

Jacqui - it's just all come up today - I'll post something on barney's page you can share around once we have her here along with a recent set of pictures. One of my friends is interested - she has been talking about a lab pup for a while so fingers crossed that will work but her partner is set on a pure bred so it may depend on whether we can get him "just to look"...
