    Hi there,
My 6month old puppy has recently started throwing up bile at around 5.30am. I looked on the internet and noticed this is to do with him being hungry.
We havent changed him over to just two meals a day yet so he is eating 6.30am, 12.30pm and 6.30pm.
We wanted to start feeding him twice a day soon, which will probably be 7.30am and 7.30pm, will this help the bile problem?
If not what can i give him before bed to stop him waking up and vomitting.

    Thank you

I would give him a little treat before bed, maybe a few pieces of his food, and seeing if that works :)

Yes, ditto @Boogie. That's a fairly common problem and often a little snack, a small bit of his regular meal, at bedtime fixes it. Easy first thing to try on your own.

This happened to us when we had Belle, so we saved a bit of her dinner for supper time, just before bed, which solved her bile problem. Then Coco came along and thought "ooh great! 3 meals a day". Now Coco is an only dog, he is very reluctant to give up his supper.

I googled it first & found the solution, but being a worry-bug I took her to the vets...who said the same thing. She said if this didn't solve it the next step would be ranitidine.
