Spray them units with bitter apple now he's such a cutie. Weirdly Rory is nibbling my feet and licking my socks. He us nibbling my feet through my socks. Tiny little nibbles nibbles nibbles nibbles it tickles
Funnily enough, that's the first thing I thought! He'll be thinking a-ha! Now to invade the front room!
When you're snuggling up with your furbaby getting some kisses and hoping like hell crocopup wont decide to bite your face off...
Hahah! I'm so there! Luna leant "kisses" as soon as I brought her home. Every time she does it now, I wonder if she's going to rip my throat out
Just had the best training session. Ella was a star, we had great fun with our friends that we've made through training and I got some fantastic advice (as always) from my friend, that happens to be an instructor. Also, she's the only 100% positive instructor that I've come across at our dog club (most are 80-90% positive so I just disregard the negative bits and pieces).
Does anyone else ever end up squished on one side of the couch because their dog is taking up the rest? Stanleys stretched over 2 seats of the 3 seater and in squished up in one. As long as he's happy I guess
Xena's at the vet's this morning. On Sunday morning there were a couple of small wet patches in her crate. Odd, but I kept an eye on her and I didn't think it looked like an infection. Monday morning, clean crate. Tuesday morning, another few wet patches in her crate. Then she did 6 poos over the course of the day, but they were proper, well-formed poos. Wet crate again this morning, so straight to the vet's. He's keeping her for the morning to do an ultrasound. I'm hoping that it's something as simple as cystitis, but he did warn me it could be incontinence ugh. She's been able to hold on overnight from 9pm-7am since she was 12 weeks old, so I'll be really sad if she's starting to have holding on issues this young.
$200 later and....it's nothing. No bladder infection, and nothing showed up on the ultrasound. So it's just a matter of seeing if it's ongoing and then going from there, because there is medication available (I'll worry about that if it comes to it). I asked if it had to do with her spay, and he said no, you see incontinence in spayed and entire bitches. On the bright side I suppose a little bit of incontinence overnight isn't the end of the world, but it's not ideal. I don't know if leaving her in her crate overnight is the right idea. I don't want to encourage her to wee on the kitchen floor, but I don't want her to have to soil her crate, either. She does sleep on a dry fleece, so at least she's not on an actually wet bed...I'm going to be very nervous tomorrow morning.
