Quick question. My puppy will sit and wait for his supper all day until we release him in the house. Could we try this outdoors in the yard with distractions. Would it benefit him. He will stay until released in the yard as long as he doesn't pick up a smell or the neighbours dog doesn't wander by. We can get his attention back fairly easily but I'd like to proof this. Would his supper be considered a high enough of a reward to keep his focus. He's a 9 month old entire male if this makes a difference.

I personally would try short sessions in your yard without distractions and slowly build the distractions up so that he doesn't fail. Also I would use high value treats too as you will be asking quite a lot :)
