Another question from this first time puppy-owner!

George's adult teeth have started coming in (he is now 5.5 months) and seems to be going smoothly. Except I've just noticed that on both sides, his new canines are almost completely in (I think?), but the puppy canine teeth haven't fallen out. So he basically has two sets of canines at the moment. It looks quite funny, and I hope it's not painful. I tried wiggling the baby teeth and they aren't even loose. I've read that sometimes the puppy teeth need to be extracted, but how long should I wait before being concerned?

I don't have an answer as to extracting teeth, but would put a call through yo the vets to ask the question if you are concerned.

I'll definitely call the vet to see what they think. Just looking for some anecdotal insight into how long it takes most puppies to lose all of their baby teeth.

I think Harley was about 5-6 months when she lost her baby teeth....if I remember rightly, it was closer to 6 months.

Chandler had something like that too, but it lasted about 2 months then the baby teeth ended up falling out. I would suggest a vet visit also just to be sure! Chandler also did not show signs of pain when I went near them
