Oh Helen, how terribly distressing! Some consolation I hope is that they know what is wrong and are swinging into action to help Charlie. He is a strong lad, I am sure it will get easier now, everything crossed but you know he is in the best place. I know how you feel, and am thinking of you xx

I really appreciate all your kind wishes and thoughts, you are all so great x

Poor Charlie only got out of his 5 week cone session about 4 weeks ago for his barbed wire injury and now this. He is a strong fit boy so that's on his side, but he looked so awful just lying there so flat, it's heartbreaking and awful not having him here with us :(:( xx

Kate, the good part of this is that the vet knows what is wrong so will be taking care of Charlie pronto. Charlie has gone through so much already that I cant even think that there will be any debris...that would just not be fair.So my thoughts are with you and Charlie. Once he is taken care of he will be right as rain.....they are such hardy lads.....Big hug.

    Thank you so much x

I just had a phone call with an update from the vet, Charlie is a little brighter and managed to eat/drink a tiny bit, so I am thrilled about this. The metacam must be helping with the pain so he feels able to try to eat. I asked the Nurse to give him a big kiss from us, she laughed, can't imagine why! xx

All your good wishes, hugs and love are doing the trick :) xx
