I would not use this for my dogs, just my personal opinion.

    Is this the "new" Bravecto?
I use Bravecto, still, as we have had no problems and it has been very effective, but I am pretty wary of recommending it to others.
I'm not averse to using drugs for ticks and fleas (I know Stacia doesn't generally anyway) but I would want this to be used for quite a few years before feeling happy about it given the issue of seizures that (anecdotally, no clear proof) has turned up on some forum dogs.

On our Vets advice, I still use Bravecto , as we cant risk anything irritating Sams skin due to the lymphoma . Have to say he hasn't ever had any poor responses to it .

I would use a tick 'thingy' if I lived in a tick area, used something when we holidayed in Cornwall with the GSPs long ago, otherwise not.

I done a bit a reading about bravecto and I won't be using it.I have a tick hook by tick pick which fits on my key ring. Luckily i don't live in an area where there are a lot of ticks

I understand the worry of tick-borne diseases. But I think equally worrying is the administering of pesticides internally to a dog.

The number of reports of adverse effects of these oral chews is growing worldwide. I don't think one should dismiss these reports; rather, it should set alarm bells ringing.

I don't know about Nexguard, but with Bravecto they claim safety after testing on 24 Beagle puppies and then euthanizing them after the study was done - I think the pups were 6 months old or thereabouts. No long term safety studies were done. Nexguard claim theirs might help mange - after a study of 8 dogs and another of 4 dogs, so I'd be interested in their study numbers for claiming safety. I remain skeptical.

While many dogs have shown no adverse effects - thankfully - there are no long-term studies on the accumulative effects of ingesting these oral chews. And more and more pet owners are reporting adverse effects after the second and third doses.

I just think it's crazy to ingest a pesticide; it goes against all common sense.
