Re: What have I done to him? Good morning.... Dexter is much better this morning....tail is up at 45 degrees ,wagging a bit harder ( ) and he's brighter and perkier in himself! Last night was the first night in a week I left him and slept upstairs....I've been down with him for fear he would chew the splint off the end of his tail and choke in the night .in that week he hasn't bothered with it at all......this morning when I came down,what did I find.....yes,you guessed it...a chewed off splint and a doggie standing up at the gate delighted with his little self!......How do they know?Hes either thought,she's not watching me,ill have a good chew or ill chew it off and she will sleep with me tonight.I just don't know how he knows that the splint is the factor .....amazes me!

Re: What have I done to him? Too busy at work to comment over the last few days but managed to read a few posts. SO glad things are on the mend. You sounded really frantic and you must be exhausted. Poor Dex.
