    Despite whatever other medical issues he may have, Snowie sure does seem to have a cast iron stomach. And thank goodness if he's going to eat an entire picnic, including utensils. I wouldn't be surprised if a bit of plastic plate comes up next!

    Me, too! I generally inspect his droppings with a stick but he is usually rather discrete and poos behind a tree. If accessible, I go look. This morning I couldn't find it, camouflaged on the forest floor. So sadly I might've missed the plastic plate. Or maybe the salt cellar. Or how about the stew pot?! I saw a photo in the paper today of a sea turtle in Bangkok that had coins (enough to fill a big box almost her size) surgically removed from her stomach!!!!!
