We are having a cable installed at home for internet and DH messaged me earlier to say that the technician needed to borrow his meter. So he gave it to Harls and she took it to the technician. How flipping cute is that? Clearly, because this is Harley, the technician is her new bestest friend but still. She is such a cute pup. Unfortunately no photos or video.
At this point taking items from one person to the next seems to be her thing. She is not super keen on playing or fetching ball - she will do it but only for awhile and then she loses interest. But the adorable look of pleasure and pride on her face when she brings something is just too cute for words.
We tried this with Snowie yesterday for the first time - ala Harley. My husband gave him my socks and told him to take them to me. Which he did! With the same ears Harley had in her video, very proud! Then I asked Snowie to take the socks back to my husband. Much cajoling but he did, but then wouldn't give them to him. We reckoned he knew I was late for his walk and what was this useless game we were up to! (Actually at five years old he's not nearly as well trained as Harley!)
I love training this kind of thing with Charlie. My daughter's boyfriend didn't believe that I could get Charlie to fetch my keys and him give them to Grace, Charlie did it several times much to the BF's amusement x
