Mummy says its like spring today ! And so we`re off to the forest , the big forest where there are lots of those creatures with antlers , yippeeee ! Mummy says I must not track them and must not chase them , she can be such a spoil sport at times , because its fun ! There are also lots of those little grey things that scamper around and climb trees , it all gets a bit much at times, I get sick with excitement and Mummy goes red in the face from blowing that damned whistle , Sam

We sent ging out hunting she's Been so good you see what she got for us :D. We love ging but we love fishy crunchers more. There's a huge stash of body bits in the special cupboard too. I feel like I have a proper Labrador hoard now. Oh it's massive.

This is now the 4th night daddy has not slept with us. He comes home late afternoon but then goes out again as soon as mummy and I have gone to bed. Mummy says he is working, but he normaly works during the day. I heard daddy tell mummy that they are in the poo at work, and that is not good. I am thinking that would be excellent and I need to go and inspect if it is suitable.
Am hoping daddy will soon be back to normal, as even trying to sit on his lap tonight for ages did not seem to work.
I don't like it one single bit. I hope I don't miss out on my beach trips this weekend...

I`ve been swimming , real swimming , oh joy ! Mummy wouldn't let me swim when it was real cold , she says I am poorly and she didn't want me getting a chill , poorly ? Huh ?? So today , she threw my precious ball in and told me to get it , I didn't need second asking , big splash , in ! Got my ball but no way was I getting out any time soon, round and round I swam , it was wonderful ! Then I saw my pal Rupert , his Dad has wonderful things in his pockets , bits of chicken and sausages , how I love sausages , so I did get out , me and Rupert ran about a bit , and then I got half a sausage , what a wonderful day , Sam x

I love swimming Sam. It is the best, I will be sitting waiting for that silly line that is attached to my hoomans to be taken off and I will run past everybody and go straight into the water. Once I have had that first swim, then I will say hello to everybody (but only after I have gotten my treat for a shake down). But now it is getting harder in the evening as we are not allowed to be off leash until after 8pm, but it is starting to get dark. Daddy says there are to many big fish out there. So have to now wait until weekend for my morning swim, and he said something about once the clocks change we can go again in the evening. But only for a short period as it will soon be getting darker earlier and earlier. Who makes up these silly rules...I demand, no actually I deserve a swim everyday.
Need to have a serious talk with my hoomans...(all I really have to do is give them the 'look', we all have it)

My dad has been away for two nights and I've missed him. I've had to snuggle up to mum at night, which isn't the same. Its much nicer when I can snuggle between them.

He came back today and I gave him a great welcome and play. Tonight I'm following him around the house to make sure he doesn't sneak away again.

I saw 2 little dogs today. They were too far away to be worth bothering with, but mum said I was SO good, I got loads of beef. I might try this technique again....

I'm watching doggies on telly too, they was doing the fly ball and kept disappearing off the screen but I couldn't find where they had gone. I thought the cat had got them so I went and barked at her as loud as I could and Mum got cross cos she said I made her jump and she spilt her tea.
I'm being really quiet now otherwise Mum said she would turn it off - but I'm so excited I have to keep making big smells :D.

I like the agility I watch perched on the back of the sofa. Moo fell over in the garden she really hurt herself. We were all upset because we thought she was having a stroke. She's ok but a bit stiff
