You know how to erase all your dogs training in a split second?...invite his favourite playmate over and let them out in the garden together. I've never in 10 months seen him this excited or disobedient. He has just started barking at passerbys now too. He's trained for the controlled little life we have for him but I think due to a lack of continued socialization and lack of winter walks in public (due to -12temps) have done us a fair bit of harm. I had no idea he was this far from being proofed. I've called him back from foxes, off mouse hunts and neighbours dogs but today was a true indication of how much more work we need and how comfortable you get with your routine. Like the book says, just cause they know how to sit in the kitchen doesn't mean they will outside. Back to the drawing board.

Keep the faith ! Just repetition and patience , then more repetition and patience ! It truly doesn't take much or long for them to lose the plot , but it usually comes back , given time and effort , good luck x
