Remember Dozer? The labrador attacked by a pack of dogs in his own garden? The badly injured labrador belongs to Deborah Bowler who is housekeeper to Tory MP Jacob Rees-Mogg. The Somerset MP has presented the government with a petition with thousands of signatures, so that the owners of dogs that attack other dogs can be punished and prevented from repeating their crimes. Tozer was very badly injured, but he survived. Other dogs have not been so lucky. You can read more here Let's hope Mr Rees-Mogg is successful!
Re: Remember Dozer? I hope that he is successful too , its shameful that owners can get away with it . I remember one call I took on the Blue Cross pet bereavement support line from a distraught lady who`s dog had been killed in her own garden by two dogs who had jumped over her fence and attacked it in front of her eyes . It really is time for these irresponsible owners to be brought to answer for their dogs actions .
Re: Remember Dozer? How terrible. As I've said in a different post, I think it is really the owners who are more anti-social. I wont say that my dogs will NEVER bite another - but I'd be mortified if it did...
