Those of you that have been on here a long time will of heard me talking about how scared my mum was of Harley. My mum didn't meet her until she was around 8/10 months old and I have worked really hard on ensuring Harley doesn't jump on my mum or lick her. We have been taking Harley to my mums since she was about 10 months old and started on harness & lead, then on collar and lead and over the past 7 months off lead and allowed anywhere in the house A few weeks ago I went to mums for a barbecue and Harley was off lead the whole time and never jumped on anyone and sat by me when everyone was eating. Today mum had another barbecue and told me I had to take Harley as she hasn't seen her for a few weeks. Lo and behold my mum FED Harley some burger!!! This is a massive achievement as mum wouldn't put her hand near Harley as was scared she might bite. It was fantastic to see and has made me so happy

That is excellent news, you have worked so hard and perhaps now your Mother will realise that dogs make life so much better
