Hiya, we have a 9 week old black lab pup & I was wondering how long they usually sleep at this age? We've read that they should sleep about 14 hours but our boy is only sleeps about 1/2 of that and each nap only lasts about 20 mins at the most, is this normal?

Hi and welcome. I think every pup is different. Some need a lot of sleep, some not so much. Some pups are very bitey, some pups not so much.

Do you mean your puppy only sleeps 7 hours, including overnight? If so that doesn't sound much sleep.

Hiya, he'll sleep about 6 or 7 hours at night but during the day he never stops bouncing about the house. Today he slept about 10 mins each nap which adds up to only about an hour all day.
