THought this was very interesting, having a reactive dog ourselves we can really relate to a lot of what the author writes about.

I was also wondering if how many people would know what a yellow flash, sleeve, jacket being worn by a dog means? I have been pleasantly surprised by how accommodating other dogs owners have been when we first attached a yellow sleeve with the words "caution -reactive dog" written on it. At least they give us a bit of space!

Really interesting, Winnie can be nervous around people if they reach towards her. We've just purchased a bright yellow collar that says 'nervous' in bold black letters on it.
She's only worn it a couple of times so far but it has helped, as people often see her and do the automatic lets pat the friendly lab!
It's allowing us to control encounters that may cause her stress more effectively.
