Hi everyone! I've been reading the posts on this forum pretty regularly throughout the past few months as I prepare for getting a lab puppy of my own so I already feel like I know most of you pretty well. I love reading this forum because it is very informative, humorous and provides a great sense of community. Since the puppies were born a few days ago I figured It was about time to formally introduce myself. So here it goes, I currently live in Maryland and am super excited about brining the puppy home in 8 weeks. I have basically zero experience with any dogs although I have a good idea of what to expect from reading this forum and a bunch of other articles. Their were a total of 10 puppies in the litter, 7 females, 3 males. Both parents are very light yellow, so the puppies are practically white. I'll try to post a photo in the next couple of days. Look forward to talking to y'all over the upcoming weeks!

Hi and welcome from me and 3 year old red girl, Harley from south west UK. She is my first ever dog too and it has been a learning curve but also the best thing ever. Are you getting a girl or boy? Any names?
Thanks for the warm welcome all! Oberon- they're only about an hour away, so not to far. Edzbird, and Naya- I'm getting a girl puppy and don't really have a name picked out so I'm open to all and any suggestions. I'll probably start a new thread for that soon. The breeder only sent me one picture so far but i'll try to post this evening.
