Happy Birthday Ella @Emily and Cassie @selina27. Big licks from me, I like birthdays but only had one so far.

Anyway those funny creatures I was talking about yesterday are called Kangaroos, but my hoomans call them kangis. They make silly noises and come right up to our door. There are a lot of different noises, which some I do not like...
went to the beach this morning, that was fun. there we meet a chocolate Labrador called Charlotte, she was 7 and another dog called Charlie. We ran and ran, and played in the sea and sand. I might get to see them again tomorrow as they go there all the time. They live here.
Apparently we are going for a day out tomorrow. Don't know where but hope it has a good beach for me. I will get Daddy to post a picture of me on my holidays...

Oooh, we went on a path made of hors poo the other day! Mum said the farmer had been muck spreading. I think it must be like when she scatters bits of kibble over the floor for me to find. The farmers must like to sniff out and eat all the hors poo. I tried a bit, but then Mum said "leave it" and I got lots of CHEEEEEEZ instead. Hors poo is good, but CHEEEEEEZ is betterer.

    Whass a burfday?

After my walk this morning I went on the beach! I went on the beach! The tide was in, but there was a bit of room to play fetch with the ball - it bounced really funny on the stones - I had to be super watchful to see which way it bounced. Also I got some swimmy fetches mixed in with my dummy! I love fetching stuff. But the BEST bit was when I got home. I was HOZED ! I love the hozepipe. I can't catch the water but I try SO hard. Being hozed made me feel so joyful I ZOOMED around the garden too.

I was super good on my walk. I didn't chase a football ball and let squeakers cuddle me. They weren't my Lucy but they were lovely it was so nice I closed my eyes a leaned one the boy and he giggled. His dad laughed so I gave him a lovely cuddle too. We had to go home though cos ginger got very hot and couldn't breath too good. I walked her home slow and was so good and cuddled her on the sofa. I've tried so hard today I'm tired and I think I might need a snack

I got my tiny feet wet today, for the first time , Mummy kept saying I was brave ,it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be but I don't want to get any more of me wet any time soon . Mummy bought me a training lead and guess what , she dropped the end of it so that I could scamper about after my big brother Sam, it was such great fun , I think I have landed in dog heaven , Nell xx

What is it with my Mum . She did that disappearing thing on my walk again - I found her hidden behind a hedge. How am I supposed to concentrate on the things I want to go off and do if I have to keep looking for her .

That's odd behaviour Ripple. Is she off her food at all? Poos & wees OK? Has she had a fright? Does she appear scared of anything? You're going to have to keep a close eye on her for a while I think.

That's the problem Coco, I've got important things to do on my walk, it's a real nuisance having to keep an eye on her all the time. She seems fine in every other way so I can't understand what's going on.

Sometimes there's no obvious cause, Ripple. Mine has developed some sort of affliction where she's losing MY treats. I have to keep close watch on her, she knows she's lost them because she calls me back to find them, but she can't seem to stop losing them o_O. Luckily my nose can sniff them out. Just keep one eye & one ear out for her, you wouldn't want to suddenly find she's lost, would you?

Good advice Coco - I think I should take her to the seaside more often, there's less places for her to disappear and I can get on with my poo hunting without worrying.

Uh oh! Mummy's mad! I rolled in fox poo.

It was GREAT! I smelt soooo beautiful. Mummy didn't like it but I was so so happy :monkey:

But then I had to have a BATH! I've never had one before it was awful. Infact, I had to have two!

And dry shampoo! And I have to sit on a special blanket on the couch.

It was worth it though. I might do it again tomorrow.

Today was a weird day and I didn't get my regular park walk. It started normal, with our morning car ride where I watch for other dogs on our route. Then we did something called "errands"...Dad and I went to the place with bad smells and lots of scary sounds where people bring cars and left ours with strangers...and then we took a big big car with lots of people on it to get home. But when we got home, we could not get in the house. Something about keys and locked out? It was raining and Dad forgot my treats, so I wasn't happy about that. I didn't even have a ball. We had to go on a train for sooo long and then we found mum again! It was so weird...then we went back on the train for a long time and FINALLY got home. At least I was getting pets and people telling me I'm cute and a good girl all day. I even walked through buildings that say "no dogs"! I'm exhausted! I hope tomorrow I get to go to the park and get more treats.

I had to go and see the bum man and for once he left my bum alone. He poked me on the eyes instead! What is wrong with that geezer. So rude. I got a ride in the magic car and licked the drivers ears. I know how to charm he loves me.
