Well I thought I would just introduce myself as a new member who picked up our Black Lab puppy Layla on Saturday. So far.. so good. Has done all her toilet outside, not accidents as yet.. she seems very birght and has already learned to sit on command using clicker... so much so that she now keeps sittingi in front of me for a treat..... Having the normal chewing, biting pulling clothes etc but normal I know. Have never had a lab before we have always had GSD's so looking forward to the challenge of these cute little bundle who has stolen our hearts already.

Welcome, Jackie and Layla! She looks like a real cutie in your avatar pic. You are doing well to have avoided any indoor accidents so far - very impressive :)

Hope you really enjoy being part of the forum.

    Hi there Jackie,

We've got Dexter a yellow boy and he's just turned 12 months ,my first dog ever,he has been wonderful.i often think that I wish I'd given into my Husband earlier( 10 years of trying to break me....) but then we wouldn't have had Dexter and we love him to bits.youve found a great place for so much helpful Labrador advice ( and plenty of other things too ;D)
Your puppy is lovely and being very good
    Best wishes
    Angela

Welcome and congrats. Also took me years for my husband to persuade me, now I wouldn't know what to do without Harley (8 weeks old), and we have only had her for just over a week! :)
