No, never had a spaniel but have had 5 German Shorthaired Pointers. I do see people with spaniels and always surprised that they stay near despite not being trained! Usually Springers and not Cockers
Oh this thread has turned out to be so entertaining I've had to get a tissue to wipe my tears. Yesterday we had to drop OH off at the hospital and wait for him (nothing serious) so I decided to go to the park. Mabel gets so excited in the park, but she will never run up to a dog and get in their face, definitely super polite. Anyway yesterday this guy shouts my dog is scared of bouncy dogs, as I look Mabel and this yorkie are both sniffing the ground together neither bothered by each other but to my amazement this guy started to scream and suddenly I was transported into a Little Britain sketch of "I'm the only gay in the village". My face was a picture as I walked off with Mabel, I started to laugh. Some people.
