How many times per day does your dog poo?

Oh believe you me you are in fine company!! I poke Snowie's poo with a stick to make sure all is in order.

 

Two or three is the norm. He waits for his walk, doesn't want to do it in his own yard. I feel really badly the days I have a migraine and he doesn't get a walk. He knows FINISH means go poop and he will then go in the yard but often on a migraine day he'll do another late in the day, which is not normal for him and tells me he was holding out, still hoping for a walk.

LOL, checking poops, yup, there are times I have had to be very thorough about this, breaking them open to check inside. ONe morning I was to take a sample to the Vet and I was looking for a poop amongst the dead leaves off the trail. Along comes a neighbour lady with her two dogs and she's looking off the trail too, she had to collect a poop from one of her dogs for her VEt the very same day and couldn't find it either. And neither of us found anything strange other than we had the same day.

 

Sorry don't know what I did there. How do you manage to highlight a small portion of someone's text so you can just respond to that bit?

 

We call that a doggy bottom pout or a upside down trout pout. Its also been called blowing a kiss that you wouldn't want on your lips

 

Harley poos 1-2 a day and she is very particular. She won't wee or poo anywhere but her home patch. She has a wee patch and a poo patch.

 

3...morning, mid day and before bed. Once and awhile just 2...not sure why!

 

Odie pees eek and poops twice a day. After breakfast and after dinner.

Axel poops twice a day.

 

Erm I don't think we're talking about the same thing!! When Snowie has a poo brewing, his backside gets more bulging - so if you look at him in profile, you might see the area between his balls and his anus - the furry part - appear to be rounder then usual. It doesn't cause an anal pout!!

Seems like it must be 10 at least when I'm poopscooping but it's probably 3-4!

 

I'm gad I'm not the only sucker for a midnight poop.
Homer goes at 6:30 - after he's had his breakfast in the garden (as a puppy breakfast was far more important than pooping!). Then on morning walk 10am, then sometimes on his afternoon walk but not always. In the last year he's been waking me up (not hubby - he sleeps through) at about 2am for a midnight poop. I think he just gets bored in the night and wants something to do, if I try hard enough to ignore him he settles again but by that time I'm awake. It all started when he had a bit of a funny tummy.

 

Not with Snowie. If he wakes me, it means he has to go now! If I don't wake up, he goes downstairs and whimpers.

 

Sparky goes at least twice a day sometimes upto four times a day. He would go at 6am and at 4pm. Maybe around 8 pm. This varies with activity and how much more extra treats my wife gives him.

 

Twice a day, morning and evening. He's a bit of a camel only pee's about 3 times a day. 2 years old and still girly pees
