Sorry for my absence from the forum, you will be glad to hear Otis has not changed much, ( you probably remember his sausage sandwich pinching from the park cafe. ) This morning I took him to the park for his walk, there was an old lady, sitting with her little dog, and beside her on the bench, two bags of tasty treats. Her mobile phone rang, and she was distracted away, Otis never one to miss a food opportunity, bounded over and managed to get both bags of treats, running off with them, pretending he wasn't my dog, to my shame I walked off across the park ! The lady luckily did not notice him !
I like your thinking Maggie, I would have been full of apologies, offering to pay for the dog treats, taking the owner out for lunch xx
