Poor Lilly had a bit of trouble on her walk this evening. She was really good - no deer chasing, no poop rolling, but..... her companions left a lot to be desired : First of all there was a lovely retriever, around a year old, couple of older dogs in tow, had a bit of a frolic....great! Next there was a similarly aged Vizla. Wow! Pocket turbo-charged power-packed ginger ball of energy. Poor Lilly. She got jumped on, licked, runned circles round, and was thoroughly regretting her initial play bow. Couldn't wait to escape Nice we walk in the intervening time, almost back at the car, retriever re-appears. Fine we think. Unfortunately by this time, he thinks Lilly is decidedly humpable. Unfortunately, being a young inexperienced lad, he picks the wrong end. All you see is Lilly looking plaintively out from under his chest, you could see it all in her face....Mum? Whats he doing? Get me out of here :-[ Poor wee soul. ;D
Re: Traumatic walk LOL, poor girl, I can just see her sweet, confused face ;D Vizslas.....say no more. Absolutely nuts. I hope that Lilly has a restful sleep tonight - with no dreams of Vizslas or retrievers!!
Re: Traumatic walk Oh dear! Poor Lilly! Riley sends his sympathy as he got molested on his walk yesterday too.....by a girl!!! His face too was a picture as he got humped....."mum, this isn't right mum. Get me out of here!"
Re: Traumatic walk Oh dear.. So sorry... Especially as I have been at the 'other end' of the humping scenario for the last week - one of my mother's collies (a bitch) is a terrible humper - whenever she sees another dog that she doesn't know, she grabs them and subjects them to a spot of ritual humping... The times I have shouted out 'Terribly sorry, she won't bite; and she's not my dog!!!' to other owners... :
