9 week old pup travelling in special crate in rear of car.

He's fine when we are stationary but starts to cry as soon as we move off and doesn't stop until the car stops.

    Any suggestions please?

    Regards

I would start out with riding in the passengers lap, and only making short trips to fun places. It worked for Cooper. She was initially unhappy riding, but It only took 3 or 4 trips and she was ok with riding.
(She had ridden 400 miles across Oregon with the breeder in a truck cab to get to us.) I don't recall Tilly ever minding riding, but she got car sick a couple of times on windy roads.

All of our dogs some times complain on very long trips. We sometimes do 3400 mile road trips in the summer. Late in the day Cooper or Tilly (when she was younger) would start to bark, and basically say "I've had enough, stop the car and let me run around" after a delay, we would get back on the road again.
