I'm down in Cornwall for the weekend - with some work colleagues (we are supposed to be having a working away weekend thing, Charlie got to come too ). Took him over the cliffs, to a place called Coombe Hawn - very sheltered, water very still (and at this time of year as warm as the sea in cornwall gets). Did a few fetches from the shallows and he was bouncing in so enthusiastically, I thought I'd just throw it a bit further. Hooray! He swam out to get it like a pro. After that, no stopping him.
