    Hi,
My 9month old Labrador has started peeing at the top on our stairs, this has just started over the last couple of weeks. No idea why as she always tells us when she wants to go so not sure why this has started. Any advise?

    Thanks

Hi Yasmin. I'd go back to basics and start toilet training again, with lots of praise and treats for going outside. Also, make sure you're using an enzymatic cleaner like Simple Solution, which gets rid of all the last traces that our noses can't pick up, but the dogs can.

Great, will try this. Thanks for your help, could you suggest where to get an enzymatic cleaner from please?

Yup, I used Simple Solution like the one @DebzC has linked to. It's not cheap, but it lasts a long time. You can get smaller spray bottles, too.

I would maybe have her urine checked in case of an infection. I know that makes dogs urinate inappropriately. Also, is she spayed? I've heard that it can cause incontinence in some dogs. Does she sleep at the top of stairs? Is she urinating while asleep?
