I'm not going outside. I've had my walk and that is IT for me today.
I'm staying in the house where it is cooler and lying with my nose pressed under the door. Mum just stroked me down with a soaking wet towel, that was quite nice.
    Phew.

We had a VIZTER yesterday. All day long! A new hooman to give cuddles. She spoke a bit funny, Mum said becuz she's from CALLEEFONYA. Mum said her name was EMLEE and she wanted to find a Labrador puppy. I tried to give her the annoying brown thing, but, even though the ABT jumped in EMLEE's car, she left without taking her. :(

EMLEE gave good strokes. I liked her. Even Willow was most unDuchessy.

Oh Shadow! You had a visit from THE Emlee? Lucky lucky dogs! Did you think she'd come to take your ABT away to be her dog? I bet you'd miss the ABT if she wasn't there..

THE Emlee, yes! Mum says there's another Emlee, too, but she lives a longlonglongLONG way away, somewhere upside-down. I liked Emlee lots.

    I don't know, Coco. She's always there!

I suppose I was quite happy to see her when Mum brought her back from the show thingy. But only because she was sososo happy to see me and did her full body wag for me. She loves me loadsandloads, Mum says.

That would be awesome! I wonder if upside-down Emlee gives good cuddles, too? We could have a competition. An Emlee-off.

Dad is feeding me with ice cubes. I love their cold crunchiness. He hasn't flavoured any for me yet, but maybe the next one will taste of kibble.

You'll have to learn to shut car doors quickly, Shadow, then Emlee could have taken her by mistake! :) I'm sure you'd miss her really, though, just like I'd miss That Tuppence Creature (who is now doing a good job for both of us by putting her dribbly face all over mum's lap so she'll give in and feed us... I hope...

I learnt to swim yesterday! The river used to be scary and I had to bite it and slap it with my big pig paws and I wouldn't go in past my knees because I didn't want to get my PointerPants wet. Also it was too cold on my jibbly puppy-boobies, and once I almost went in and a big old ugly swan HISSED at me which was very rude. But yesterday I ran into the river for my ball and suddenly my leggies were off the bottom and I swam-swam-swam and I was so excited I did a bum-tuck run afterwards and slipped over on a cowpat and I didn't even stop to eat the cowpat! So now I am a Big Grown-up Pig because I can swim and perhaps that means I can catch ducks. I will try next time although I would not like to catch a swan. Mum says if I did that the Queen would be angry, and I don't know what that means but it sounds like I might not get my sardines. Love, the Pig.

I've tried to catch ducks. I'm not very good at it. They do that flying thing. Mum doesn't like me doing it either. I wasn't allowed near a swan. I had to go on my lead :(

You wouldn't want to go near a swan anyway Coco, they are very rude. They also look like they might actually win at Bitey-face. And mum says that that they can break your arms, I am not sure how she knows but she says that Everyone says it and Everyone must be a clever person because they say a lot of things. I am not sure which are my arms but I don't want them broken. I need them to swim-swim-swim because I am a water-pig now!!!

Well I have figured out why mummy calls me 'Princess Madam' (she also calls me something else but don't think I can say that). It is because I cuddle Daddy and sleep on his pillow looking at him. Don't see what is wrong with that, I like the pillow...

The old girl has been really bonkers today. She's been running about and being noisy and annoying ging and me. She's had fun but she's just so deaf. I couldn't work out what she was barking about

Started barking early as it's going to hot later 4.19 am I barked just for the fun if it. I barked at ging through the window standing next to her and tried to eat my own poo. It will be too hot for that Kind of thing later so it all needs doing now busy busy.
