    Hello,

I'm looking for advice in training my lab that is currently 10.5 weeks old; the problem is that he will non-stop bark from around an hour before his last meal (though sometimes also other meals too).

He is currently fed 75 grams per meal, four times per day (300 grams) and he is fed Purina Beta Puppy. I last weighed him a few days ago and he came out at 7.8 KG which I believe is healthy for his age, though ribs are visible when he stands up.

I have tried clicker training since week 9, where I will wait for a pause in the barking, give a click and a treat and then walk away and repeat and I have always waited for a break in the barking to deliver his bowl. Non of this has worked so far.

Is this a case of perseverance or am I doing something wrong or am I missing something completely?

    Thank you.

Maybe up his food just a little? You should be able to easily feel their ribs, but not see them when they are standing up. A little less so with very young pups too. He may simply be hungry.
