For the last few days Charlie's nose has been very dry, almost like sandpaper. He is eating, drinking, exercising, pooing as normal so do I need to worry, or is a dry nose means sick dog just an old wives tale?

    Thanks. xxx

I don't think it necessarily means that the dog is sick , but it could mean something like an allergy , pollen maybe ? I know that Dorwest Herbs sell balm for soothing dry noses and skin , might be worth trying Helen ? x

... or even good old coconut oil. I have a friend with an English bulldog who gets a very dry, cracked nose in the summer. She has tried all sorts of balms and so on, and swears by the coconut oil.
