Hi I have posted on here before about my choc Rolo showing aggression at approx 11
Months old, he is not 2 years and 8 months....no better. He has seen everyone, trainers, vets, whisperers, even a dog chiropractor. He is good 90% of the time but it is like he is anxious which sometimes leads to he getting aggressive, sometimes growling, sometimes lunging and trying to bite. I think maybe I am being selfish because I love him but I need to think of him and maybe there is someone out there better for him. Maybe more an outdoor life (working farm etc) instead of just a pet. Please don't judge me, I have tried working with him for the last 2 years but I can't help him and he is getting more isolated being with me the older he gets due to his unpredictability. Thanks

Hi @Emmaswinners, so sorry to hear you are still struggling with Rolo. Can I ask what the trainers, vets etc. advised you to do training wise with Rolo? When you say he lunges and tries to bite, do you mean towards other dogs or humans? Have you tried getting advice from a behaviourist as a good positive one will be able to give you ideas on how to train Rolo. He may not be aggressive, he maybe anxious or fearful. Isolating him will only make things worse. Nobody on this forum will judge you. xx

@Emmaswinners I'm so sorry you've come to this point. The forum rules prohibit the advertising of dogs for sale, stud or rehoming. I really think you need to find a rescue organisation that you trust and are happy with to help you if that's what you want.

Bearing in mind the forum rules can everybody please keep comments focused on support and advice on working with rescues or recommendation of rescues.

    Many thanks :)
