We are Hesitant to buy our puppy now we have met the "Male Sir" ??

    Congratulations on choosing your puppy ! I think you maybe have to consider the fact that the sire might be totally crackers because he hasn't been trained, mentally and physically , and that had he been, he may well have been a very different lad altogether, so its nurture rather than nature ? Lots of luck x

    Have to say my older Lab Lucan doesn't show himself off favourably in front of new people, he would probably come across as hyper/crackers too. In his case he's a very well trained, obedient, calm and laid back dog normally but becomes anxious around strangers in his home, which manifests as OTT behaviour. He does calm down eventually... much quicker when the visitors totally ignore him.

    Yeh he's the best eh???? I've had my black lab a week and have discovered he is a living stomach with a dog exterior!!!
    Get to go out in the world with him tomorrow and that's like a child waiting for Christmas.

    I said to my middle son Michael I am going to buy a dog put it in a silo full of food then go on holiday for two weeks and come back and see the result!!!
