My poor 9 year old lab had xrays last week and has severe arthritis in hips and spondylitis(sp?) Of spine. Vet has prescribed gabapentin to increase the effect of previcox and hopefully make him more comfortable. My question is, has anyone noticed that either of these meds makes the air expulsion absolutely vile?! Every few minutes he lets it go and we need gas masks! Last night the smell woke me up twice, any suggestions please? Have tried probiotics and charcoal tablets which helped in the past, but not this time. Oh boy!!!!!!
I got a stomach protector for Doug when he was on previcox from the vet it did help wuth his bum issues. In the end I switched to tramadol and onsior which he was much better on
