Any hints on how to stop my puppy biting? I've tried the distraction with toys and ignoring the biting but not very successful so far. Not worried about me but have young grandchildren who visit so I need to get this sorted asap.
I think you probably just need to keep your puppy and grandchildren mostly separate at this stage - a stair gate fixed in a doorway or two could be a help, or a puppy pen. Puppy biting will pass, but until then it is a case of managing the situation. Holding a toy, rice bone etc for your puppy to chew on can help. If you look in the puppy section, you'll see that everyone goes through it.
