Harley and I went to our second "Clicks and Tricks" class today. Initially I took Harley on my own because DH had to work but he was available this week and I have decided that I want to complete this course on my own because I feel like it is helping my bond with Harley. Also, I have social anxiety and this is the 4th course Harley is doing with the same dog school and I am feeling comfortable enough to give it a bash and so far, so good.

Harley is really enjoying the class, nothing is serious and she is performing very well regardless. The part that I am enjoying so much is that she is tail wagging and focussed on what we are doing. She watches me the entire time and you can see the gears turning in her head when she is trying to figure out what to do.

I never thought I would enjoy clicker training as much as I do, I think it is more fun for me than for Harls:)

I wanted to post this because if there is anyone that is wanting something extra to do with their dogs I can highly recommend this type of class.

I'm really interested in clicker training, but I'm the only one in our family, and I don't seem to have time these days.
I really ought to give it more of a go. It sort of died a death with us after a little while.
I know how useful it can be.

Not sure I have ever seen clicker training classes advertised up our way.
