We've just returned from a week cruising on the Danube from Nuremburg to Budapest with Viking. Absolutely first rate and I can recommend Viking without any reservations. The cruise was probably 60% Americans, a few Canadian, 1 or 2 from Australia and New Zealand and the rest British. A really nice group, I thought. Lovely countryside and we visited some pretty places along the way. Vienna - most interesting and also visited an old Viennese coffee house of course. Budapest - lovely. Got back to Heathrow yesterday afternoon. It has to be the worst airport in the world! Picked a Small Black Dog up from kennels this morning. She was so pleased to see us again and has been following us around the house since we got back. Looks like there has been a lot of rain. Took her across the fields just before lunch and she was off like a rocket and plunging through the large pond that had formed in one of the fields - several plunges in fact. Now to catch up .......
Re: Just got back from the Danube Welcome home David and Lady and glad you had such a lovely holiday, it sounds fantastic. OH (David) got back from the USA yesterday and cursed Heathrow also, he goes away every other month and it never gets any better even with all the new technology : Helen x

Glad you had a nice time,ill look this company up.My Hubst and I love cruises....we got the bug after going on a Mediterranean one for our honeymoon....we've also done Alaska,the Baltics and a lovely clipper cruise round the south of France that coincided with the Grand Prix ......and the Cannes film festival...amazing but I didn't see John Travolta :'(
