My OH went off with Molly, leaving me at home gardening, to a village fete today and entered her in the 'prettiest lady' dog class. She wasn't placed ( he said indignantly when he got home, 'All the winners were little fluffy things') but he also told me that the judge commented on how well behaved Molly was. I was delighted! (And of course I think she's the most beautiful dog!)

Moo got beaten in similar thing by a small fluffy in a frock. I told the judge I got no issues with it winning but it could have least wore a nice frock. It was a particularly hideous baby pink nylon number. If I put my dog in a frock it's got to be a nice one.;)

No. I can't. I just CAN'T imagine Moo the Merciless in a frock.
    Sorry.

Or were you referring to Rory?

Shes more your bondage dominatrix I know. She Rocks in black leather and heels. She's not really a Laura Ashley type.
Rory loves Laura Ashley he thinks the floral prints are divine

That's why I wasn't allowed to go to the dog show.

My OH said I would get too heated if Stanley didn't win most handsome dog.

I saw the winner - Stanley had it in the bag

Molly, you're a winner. Molly doesn't need a rosette to prove how pretty she is.

Well just to change the direction of the conversation, I woke up this morning to my birth control pills on the floor. Eaten. Clearly the cat *evil cat* had jumped up on the bench and knocked a bunch of stuff on the floor. Call to the After Hours Vet, they call me back and phew, she doesn't need to be purged. A dog would need to eat 300 oral contraceptives for toxicity to come into play. Cheeses, this dog, NOT what I wanted to wake up to on a Sunday morning.

Oh dear, but thank goodness it's not toxic. I suppose the repercussions of the missing pills could could be a little more complex than Xena needing her stomach pumped :eek:

I don't know what you're implying - Xena takes her family planning very seriously! She's just lucky that I've got more in the cupboard lol.

That's some change of direction. Colin my evil ginger cat knocked previcox a very strong painkiller of Doug's off in the same way Moo ate between 6 & 8. It was really scary. They were on a really high shelf he was a mean cat he often tried to get rid of Moo.

My friends lurcher puppy once ate a strip of ibuprofen from the bedside cabinet. That was touch and go -she spent days in hospital. Never leave ibuprofen lying about.

Me and OH got engaged on a walk back in 2015.

We've gone to do that walk again today, and just realised it's in a place called Stanley.

Doesn't fate work in mysterious ways :inlove:
