I wish I could allow Max out of his crate at night but that's not practical in our home. Thanks!

I hope it lasts for you. Yeah, once he wakes me up I'm pretty much awake. Sometimes after he eats and goes outside we both fall back asleep in the living room, but I won't be able to that next week cause the kids go back to school.

That sounds painful not sure I could drag myself out of bed that early but I'll have to give it a try.

I did this with one of my pups, after she'd been to the toilet we both slept on the sofa for until 'proper' morning. It wasn't long before she was sleeping through.

Joey is currently 12 weeks old, but when we first got him from the breeder she also told us to feed him only two meals. During the first week we had him, he was throwing up bile, every night. The vet said that we should be feeding him alot more regularly and that he should be having food in the arvo around 5 and then around 8pm. Now that we are doing that, he sleeps from 8:30-5:30 and only wakes us up once to go out to the toilet. Before that, he was waking me almost hourly!

Hope things are getting better, and you are getting a bit more sleep! :D
