    Isn't it amazing how clean dog's paws are considering what they tramp through.

    Um....Charlie gets his paws washed after walks. They are always absolutely filthy! I used to do them with pet wipes but it got too expensive in wipes. He must have been at the back of the Q for teflon paws...

    You know.....after my walk today I looked at my floor and thought I was talking rubbish.
    Wet paw prints galore ::)
    I have a short video of my walk i will post sometime after my weekend away. Off for a night in a 5* hotel courtesy of the outlaws. It has wifi but probably at 5* prices. Their Golden wedding treat to the family. :)

    Ooh sounds lovely Jac! :)

    I don't remember Poppy smelling bad when we got her, either. We picked her up from the breeder, popped her in the footwell by my feet, and drove 11 hours home to Germany. If she'd smelt bad it would have been an unfortunate experience!!

    I think it depends on how meticulous the breeder is about clearing up the puddles - one roll in wee = stinky pupster!

    You can bathe your puppy once he is 6 weeks or older. The way I made bathing fun for my puppy was- I first introduced him to puppy wipes and gradually introduced him to water. Watch this video to know how to give your puppy a relaxing spa treatment at home using puppy wipes :

    We gave Bailey a bath when we got him home - I think a parting gift from one of his litter mates was to pee on him - or he'd rolled in it. He was a stinky boy in the car on the way home! We made it a game and just gently bathed him and gave him a rubber duck to hold - which he still insists on holding to this day when he is in the bath (he rolls in the MOST disgusting thing he can find regularly). Mostly was just rinse him off (he hates the hose pipe) in the bath and then he loves being rubbed down with a towel (or several) :)

    We bathed Duggan when he first came home in a kiddie pool outside. Another time he got into something I took him in the bath to wash him off (too cold outside) and for months after he tried to get in the tub every time we filled it. Became very frustrating.
