I really don't encourage zoomies on the bed but as we know, zoomies will happen where they happen. We were trying to get ready for bed last night and clearly Harley found this VERY exciting. Result? A blast of zoomy silliness from her on our bed. I am also adding this here to give a bit of an answer to newer lab owners who have experienced this blast of ridiculous energy. There is no reasoning with a zoomier, as quickly as it starts, it ends...But it is NOT aggressive or vicious.
I was going to say EXACTLY that! And she has fallen of the bed before being silly like this, so we are on standby
Love them and she looks cute and happy in them. Surprised she did not go under the duna and drag that with her....sure it will come. Then you normally get a face of 'who turned the lights out'
Ha ha! Couldn't get this to play yesterday. Is she chasing a light? I could see an orb zipping around and it looked like she was chasing it at times
No Jacqui, not at all. We don't play with her or our cats with a light. I think you may be seeing the flash from the phone/camera part and I think the stuff you are seeing floating around is...(hides head) dust and animal hair This is just pure silliness.
LOL - no, can't see anything like fluff and fur floating around. Think I would be blind to that anyway. Maybe its just the camera light. On the other hand, could be something much more spooky that Harley could see but not you guys.......
No Jacqui! No spooky stories before bed! I will have to watch it again but as I said, when we only had our cats we played with the younger one with a laser red light and he became obsessed with it. Luckily he grew out of it, also we stopped playing with it. And in preperation for a dog I read about how bad it can be playing with a light or laser and Harls doesn't need to the encouragement to develop the zoomies. In the lounge she still thinks she can fit under the coffee tables...but she really can't all fit. But during zoomies I close my eyes as heads for it. Luckily she stops and then goes in another direction but I still believe that she will try if her brain switches off enough. I just rewatched it now and it may also be the texture of the blanket. It is faux furrish with the black part having a wavy pattern through it and the bottom is silver with sequins and silver thread. And obviously the camera light reflecting in her eyes. She is a silly fool.
