Ok, I know this is to be expected with a puppy so young, so bear with me! Whiskey's day generally consists of a period of sleepy time, followed by a period of bounding around being generally excitable (repeated throughout the day), which is no problem as we direct his energy towards toys and games. He was in one of those moods today however, and I left him in the kitchen with my little brother and sister while I ran out to quickly check email and such. I had to come running back out two minutes later : What I saw was utter pandemonium, with my little brother calling for tissue from the toilet and my sister trying to decide whether to stop Whiskey from swinging out of the curtains or clean up the two poos and a wee he had made! I have to admit, I did find it just a little funny... He was quite uncontrollable though. I put him in his crate to calm down..was this a bad move? I know his crate is supposed to be a safe place, so I need some clarity on this. Making his mess in the kitchen is quite unusual, but my sister did say she seen him sitting and whining at the door (his toilet cue) and thought nothing of it. I'm also wondering if his hyperactivity was down to the fact that she was in a state of panic, and Whiskey had also met quite a few new people today..?
Re: Naughty puppy! Hmmm.... I would be tempted to think just too much excitement. Maybe need to train up your brother and sister too. ;D I always found the crate handy for over-excitement. Also getting some space to clean up without having paws tramping through wee and poo. jac
Re: Naughty puppy! Oh dear Gerry, nothing to add really, can picture the scene though . Maybe put your brother and sister in the crate ;D ;D Helen x

Re: Naughty puppy! Haha
Yeah. He probably sussed us out before he even dared post up here anyway
don't worry, I did my research before joining the thought did cross my mind of crating my siblings... although I'm not sure that would have the same calming effect!
Re: Naughty puppy! Maybe not Gerry but it would give all of us a good laugh. And of course you know how we all love pictures on here ;D Just remember kids learn quickly how to work the lock so make sure your camera has a fast shutter speed.......
