Larks (13 months) is driving me absolutely CRAZY with whining. Let me start by saying she gets plenty of attention and excersize. 2, 30-40 minute walks (morning and evening), 2, 5 minute training sessions throughout the day and anywhere from 40-60(or more) minutes of fetch/swimming/running off leash time. She is never left alone for more then 4 hours and has access to the whole house when we are gone.

The last 3 weeks or so when my husband and I are at home together she whines non stop to do something. It doesn't mater what it is, playing with a toy inside or going out to play fetch or whatever she just wants to be active. Even if we take her for a walk and come back home she just starts up again. We have tried ignoring her completely and only acknowledging her when she has been quiet but it doesn't seem to be getting any better.

My husband is home with her more then I am during the day and says she never acts like that when it's just him at home, and she doesn't act like this for me when it's just myself at home.

Any ideas? We feel like we can never sit down and relax at all whiteout her whining for 10-20 minutes before she eventually gives up.

Hi @Maddison , does she know how to settle? And has she been in season yet?

She knows "go to your bed" (our version of settle) and usually does it without problems. But when she does it now she will go, and then get up within a few minutes or start whining while on her bed. And she is spayed.
