So proud of my dog! He was perfect! We had a bit of a shaky start as I misunderstood an instruction for his recall, but we could do it again and he continued to do everything to the text book, even his "go to bed" which we hadn't practiced in the hall for ages and I wasn't sure if he would hesitate, off he went straight to bed and lay down relaxed with his head on his paws. It was a very long evening with dogs doing combinations of bronze, silver and gold so a late night with lots of hanging about, and lots of treats, for hubby as well as Homer.
Oh wow! What an stunning achievement by you both...I did briefly look at the criteria for Gold, and boy is it tough!
Wow well done, congratulations! That is hard I am looking forward to me and Indie failing Gold in November!
November is still a while away, you'll be fine by then. Easier said than done but the main thing is to keep your dog focussed on you as the big step up to gold is coming away from distractions and off lead walking. If Indie is focussed on you then that's a lot easier.
