I know that projecting human emotions and behaviours are frowned upon by many but to be absolutely honest I really love chatting about Harley and her feline brother's more "people-like" behaviour. I always feel like every working day of my life I work with the darkest and saddest of human behaviour and emotions so I find anthropomorphizing the furkids behaviour gives me a lot of pleasure and escape Fair warning given - do not continue to read if you believe contrary to me Harley's oldest feline brother is an absolute thief. Not of food or anything like that, but of small, rustly packets. Small packets of wetwipes, tissues or anything. He loves to pinch them out of bags or off tables and run off with his prize. Then he pats the material with his paw. He loves it. Harley has become the epitome of tattletales. She will NEVER take it from his mouth or from under his paw because she is completely under his control but the moment he loses interest or moves away she will sntch it away and run to either DH or myself with the item. And she happily hands it over. It is so funny. Of course we praise her for being the best tattletale we know.
Doug was a snitch if anyone did anything he considered norty he would come and fetch me. any counter surfing he would come and get me pull the a dog or cat is being norty face then take and show me the norty thing.once he came flying in Barking like lassie I followed him and one of the cats had caught a baby bird and was torturing it.i had to rescue it and the let it go.he was funny like that he had a kind generous heart. He found an injured dove and came to get me then guarded it from Moo and the cats till I got there. They would have eaten it. Freyja iron paw used to bring in birds and mice and give them to Moo.
