Hello, Does anyone have a recommendation for a shoe rack that is dog proof? Our shoe rack is in the garage. My one year old will go in the shoe rack and chew the shoes. I have no other place to put the shoe rack. I searched for a covered shoe rack so he can't have easy access but only found ones made of fabric on amazon. Just wondering if anyone has found one they would recommend. Thanks!
I had a cheap and cheerful one made out of metal that hooked over the back of the coat closet door. As long as the door was closed, no way a dog could get to them and even if it got opened, most of the shoes were above dog height. But then my dog wasn't a jumper, so maybe "dog height" doesn't apply to Labradors.
We used this from IKEA http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90248426/ Once shoe stealing stopped, we moved it into a closet for off season shoes and just leave our shoes out by the door.
