A friend came for lunch today, he lives alone and exists on ready meals so a good home cooked roast is always welcome . Len has a Jack Russell Joe, known well to Sam and Millie , they both seem comfortable with having him around, never a cross word . Today , Joe was ferreting about in the toy box, pulling out first one toy, then another , Sam was oblivious , asleep on his cushion , Millie watching quietly from the wings, seemingly unbothered by the toy activity . Then Joe dared to fish out Teddy Legless ( dont ask !) the one toy that both Millie and Sam love most but never ever fall out over . Millie walked over to Joe who was laying mauling Teddy , her body seemed relaxed, she didnt make a sound, her tail was wagging , ears up , she stood in front of Joe who looked up and instantly let go of Teddy and rolled over on his back in submission ;D There was no showing of teeth , no low growl and yet he seemed to know that this toy was off limit , meanwhile Millie picked Teddy up and placed him very gently in her bed , casting a side glance at Joe as if to say , Dont you dare , but all the time her tail wagged and no sign of aggression, funny arent they ? ;D
Re: Telepathatic messages or just well hidden body language ? Wow....thats actually really lovely.....
Re: Telepathatic messages or just well hidden body language ? It all depends on how the tail was wagging!

It was a microscopic adjustment to the angle of the ears and tail - undetectable to the human eye - that said "TOUCH THAT TOY AGAIN AND YOU'RE TOAST MATE".

Re: Telepathatic messages or just well hidden body language ? I can just picture sweet little Millie saying "I look cute - but DON'T mess with me, or with Legless Ted..."
