Hope it goes well, Annabelle, and that the vet can help you to decide what to do :)

Sensible - glad you think the vet was good, it can be difficult to find one you trust.

    That's great :)

It'll feel much better for her and then before long she'll grow a brand new one :)

She is home :), we have been given antibiotics and pain relief for her. She is a bit uncoordinated and unsettled and does not know what to do

She is currently laying on me constantly winning and moaning, poor girl.

She ate her antibiotic like it was a treat so that is at least one good thing about having a labrador :)

Glad she's ok :) I'm sure the disorientation will pass within a day or so. Lots of pats from me!

Will do, i was up a 6 this morning cuddling her, as she woke up and wanted the whole street to know about her operation, and would not shut up

Not for the bamboo, as she has well and truly killed it, with bits of it lying all over the patio ::)

    Oh dear....poor bamboo!!

I'm guessing because it's not cut and dried it doesn't splinter like garden canes which I've always thought could be dangerous if Riley chewed them. All the flowers in my garden had to flop when he was little as I didn't dare put any canes out!

No it does not splinter, she prefers to pick the leaves of and chase them than to actually chew the stem

The toy box is looking more like a murder house at the moment, as almost every toy has blood on it.

To top it off she has also 'lost' some of her stitches ::)
