Not really lucky blooming nuisance. We have had up to five deer in the garden and they eat everything! All my vegetables have to be covered, roses fenced off, trees have protectors on them .

I don't let Ripple chase them, he just looks and I guess they are just part of the scenery now.

Big enough for them to keep out of the way, but no, they like to wander round the lawn in front of the conservatory. In the evening they keep going past the security lights and turning them on.

I take my boy for an hour walk every morning, but I'm on a diet so it's a power-walk (about 40 minutes) every evening now as well. It's getting warmer in Australia, so he was panting heavily by the time we got home.

Ha! I consider this a bit of revenge for all the nipping, pulling, lunging, remote control eating, panties stealing, and pillow humping he's indulged himself in as a pup (he's just turned 1 year and is getting better slowly with all the above)!

I am expecting to see the return of the delights of Ripple's beach walk this afternoon . The beach was littered with all sorts of stuff after the storm at the beginning of the week. As well a huge mass of seaweed there were dead birds, dead fish, random jelly like things and loads of other debris.
I think Ripple had a go at sampling rather a lot of it along with his usual dead crabs and poo. One minute he was chasing a tennis ball the next he was gone, by the time he came back his ball had floated too far out for him to retrieve, so it's joined all the flotsam and jetsam out at sea.

I should have known better .

Proud Doggy mum moment today :)

Out on Stanleys morning walk and a rabbit runs past which he decided to chase. He doesn't usually does this and all of a sudden he was quite far away.

I recalled him and he whipped round at lightening speed and came and stood in front of me like "Mam! Tryna make a friend here ".

I was so proud and pleased with him. He's a good lad sometimes!

Not really a "dog thought" other than worrying about my time with Ella.

I can't believe I'm actually considering doing more study o_O. Degree, CPA, Dog, toddler and now it looks like I might be adding an MBA too

Ripple's best friend on a pack walk once was a Jack Russell, they made a really cute couple (odd but cute) :).

I'm not sure. I'll have to ask when I go on Saturday.

OH is going to come with me I think. I said it would be more dangerous for me to go my own and he agreed :D

I have been having troubles with the Pig breaking her stays recently, and it’s been stressing me out because we have our kennel club gold exam next month.

Anyway, this morning I hear OH chanting ‘stay, stay...’ and I have a suspicious feeling so I creep down stairs, and see him getting the Pig in a down stay in the kitchen and then he goes out to the hall, gets her harness which she absolutely hates and runs away from, then creeps back to her and grabs her whilst she is still staying and puts it over her head whilst she tries to get away!:eek::mad: Words fail me. Well, actually they didn’t fail me, they might have been some threats and his testicles and a blunt implement might have been mentioned. I don’t think he will do it again

Not sure if liking your post was really the right thing @Lara - it was the bit about testicles that got me :D .

 remember, we train with kindness, @Lara - stay away from the testicles.
