Oh, I’m fine! I’m constantly covered in bruises from my clumsiness, this is just another to add to the collection :)
Everyone in the room politely pretended they hadn’t seen. I suppose that beats people rushing to the old lady’s aid :D

I’ve recently taken up playing classical guitar again, after a gap of many years. Molly really seems to like it -she deliberately lies next to me and drifts off to sleep. (But perhaps she’s really thinking, ‘Thank heavens it’s not the violin.’)

Moo loves the blues or did when she could hear. Oh plays a steel and she would try to air lick him in time with the music. Shes unmoved by classical but is a real blues hound. Perhaps molly finds it relaxing

    Sorry but I laughed!

On Friday SWMBO's OH opened a gate for me across a railway line, he mentioned that the sleepers were slippy, as I turned to thank him I went flying over on and landed hard on my butt with a yell, great way to flush pheasants though...:D

I actually picked up my violin the other day, after a gap of many years! My old dog used to love it and howl along. The Pig, on the other hand, was horrified and did panicked squeaky barks at it constantly until I stopped. Tough crowd.

Maybe you could release a Christmas single called 'Zooming through the snow'?
    Just a thought :D

Luna had a lovely evening playing with her "cousin Bo", the cocker spaniel. Very funny to watch them play - she was rolling onto her back just like she did with him when she was a tiny puppy. She doesn't do this with any other dogs, so it's obviously a throwback to when she was here as a baby. For his part, Bo was play-bowing and leaping all over her. He's a bit of a grumpy pants, and my sister kept saying "I've never seen him play like this before. Ever."
Heh, The Squidge loves everyone and everyone loves The Squidge!

About 9pm is my favourite time of day - I give up for the day and have a sleepy Stanley and lots of snuggles

Barbed wire is evil stuff...on an early morning walk yesterday, all of a sudden I hear my dog screaming in pain and fear. It was quite dark still and I thought another animal was attacking him when he came running to us with blood pouring from his nose and a puncture wound very close to his eye, with a scrape running diagonally across his muzzle. It turns out there was barbed wire hidden in the shrubs which he ran through, hitting him right in the face :( When we arrived home, the bleeding had stopped and I couldn't see any damage to his nose, and the puncture wound I treated with ointment. It looked better within an hour and he's right as rain now but that was a terrible shock. It's the only bit of "wild" area in this area for quite a ways so a lot of dogs frequent it off lead. I wonder if local council would do anything?

It is indeed - we have it here on either side of the footpath in the wooded bit - crop fields on the other sides. Sky wounded her neck many years ago on it. Red has now got her first injury from doing zoomies at about 70mph into it!!

If the council won't help or are too slow, I'd be inclined to see if I could do anything myself - it's vicious stuff. I hope Beau os OK and not phased by it.

Well today, OH has taken a surprise day off, so he came with Coco & me on our regular lead walk - I wanted him to see how well behaved Coco is - and he was. Mostly. We came around a bend, narrow road, no pavements and who should be coming the other way but his friend from school - big, white German Shepherd puppy Bertie. Bertie's mum was jogging with him. Coco lunged a bit as they passed. Then he spun around and did a massive lunge "Bertie! Bertie! It's me! Coco!", his lead slipped from my hand and he bounded over to Bertie. Oh Coco! I collected him with lots of apologies, and we quickly regained composure. Bertie's mum promised she'd slow to a walk if she saw us again. OH was still impressed with Coco for the rest of the walk.

No sure I'd be jogging with a German Shepherd who's not even 12 months old AND has had a period off school with lameness..

We went on holiday the dogs had fun on the beach and in the sea and Rory got cuddled stroked loads, he loved it.moo didnt want to be stroked thank you! We walked loads and moo managed it easily she was tired but she enjoyed the change.. She amazed me she was so perky and at one point she trotted off down one of the tracks. She can't hear and so I had to chase her.Sadly she fell ill on Thursday and is now looking to an op next week. At least we had a good time up until that point we ate loads of fish tasted local beer and cakes.:D I did fall over once but it wasn't a hospital job:rolleyes: I like Norfolk lost of interesting birds friendly people and very dog friendly.

We love it around Cley. I like the salt marshes. Chris loves going to the military museum unfortunately no dogs allowed so we have to go for a walk with the dogs, Oh Damn ;)Moo had a great time we'll sort her out now we're home.Rory was really good too but needs more lead walking practice. I was glad to get back though both their coats have just started to blow can you imagine all that fur in a small cottage:eek:
