Great minds - I was actually thinking of begging to come see you soon. I'll IM you when I land and we can see what works best for you!
Ummm...pretty much!? The US detour had nothing to do with the Labratour (family/friends whistle-stop visit as I'm originally from SF Bay Area), but the UK trip is all about the Labradors. Though as most here will point out (ahem, @snowbunny ) I'm a rubbish puppy hunter and have had more success with Forum visits than actually finding a puppy. I am, after all, "Longest on the Forum without an Actual Dog".

I am, after all, "Longest on the Forum without an Actual Dog". [/QUOTE] Maybe a forum member in the Cumbria/Scotland area will just happen to have a puppy 'visiting' when you're there... then you couldn't resist, could you?! Looking forward to (a productive?) part 2!
I hope that Cumbria/Scotland are able to produce the goods. The puppy who ends up with you will be one lucky little fuzzball!!!!! Message to the Labrador breeders of the British Isles (or whatever you call it)... WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER HOME. SELL THIS WOMAN A PUPPY, FOR GOODNESS SAKE.
Well, it will be even more fun once you actually have a pup to show us, I for 1, can't wait, so, carry on hunting
Have you looked on Champdogs recently? I just did a quick search and there seem to be loads of health-tested Labs available.
As an engineer the term "dual purpose" suggests that they can be used as puppies and ..... what else? The mind boggles!
And that is why @snowbunny is my go-to "puppy tech" fact checker. She even got the goods on a potential mama dog that I didn't even have the proper kennel name for. She's goooooood. (But I'll still check out your Champdogs link because I can't resist).
I just arrived in Cumbria after a 12 hour flight and a seven hour drive. I'm beat! But the flat here is really perfect and I'm looking forward to seeing Kendal in the daylight. Here's to the official start of Labratour Part Deux.
